Hi, I’m Iris Diane Palma and I live in Brooklyn, NY.

Over the years, my laptop has become filled with movie screen caps of flowers, despite its lack of storage. Rather than letting them go to waste, I started Flowers in Cinema on Instagram in April 2020 . It was a way for me to combine my two loves: flowers and film. What began as a fun personal project has since connected me with so many others who share this obsession!

Next time you spot flowers in a movie, I hope you’ll think of me ;)

Subscribe to read my thoughts on the importance of floral creativity in filmmaking, musings about whatever movies I watched last week, and interviews with those working in the film and floral industries.
